Rules and Drawing Details:

Open to students in grades 3-12.
Students do not have to be a patient of Carolinas Vision Group in order to enter into the drawing or win.
Students get a raffle ticket with their name on it for each “A” they receive on their report card.
Students nominate one teacher on each ticket entered.
Students with multiple “A’s” who submit multiple tickets can nominate a different teacher on each ticket submitted.
Drawings held December and June 13th.
At each drawing 5 winning raffle tickets will be drawn.
The first winning ticket will be awarded 1 laptop to the student and 1 laptop to the teacher nominated on that ticket.
The next 4 winning tickets will be awarded Best Buy gift cards.

Dr. Amanda Rickher is a Weddington native and beyond excited to be returning to the area. She is a residency-trained optometrist and truly cares about her patients. She believes in giving comprehensive and thorough eye care and her residency has helped her with that. She enjoys caring for all ages from the little kiddos all the way to the elderly. Dr. Rickher especially likes serving patients who have ocular diseases and supporting contact lenses.

Dr. Rickher graduated with Honors from the University of South Carolina in 2012 with a degree in Chemistry. She went on to receive her doctorate of optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2016. She just finished her ocular disease and primary care residency at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center.

Dr. Rickher has recently moved back to Charlotte after being away for several years. She loves spending time with friends and family, running, and trying anything new!
